When abundant life and fulfilling relationships seem out of reach
Christian-centered therapy for men, women, couples and teens experiencing restlessness, overwhelm, or disappointment in their relationships with self, God, or others
Every day,
You’re bearing the unsettling concern that your Christian life ‘should’ feel more peaceful, joyful, and connected.
You long for close relationships but receiving them feels risky, overwhelming or unobtainable. It seems that certain people and places ‘push your buttons’ and you hate the way you act and feel around them. Maybe you just did that unspeakable thing again, even though you promised yourself and God you never would. A harsh inner voice puts you down and makes you over-analyze everything, leading to doubt God’s love for you.
Your mind and body are frazzled by worry and despair, and you want relief.
Many people carry anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles alone, believing they should just have more faith, pray harder, or pretend they have no problems.
But healing doesn’t come from trying harder or dismissing the pain. It comes from sharing your hurts with safe people who acknowledge your suffering, help you understand what may be triggering it, and teach you new ways to relate to yourself, God, and others.
Hi, I’m Bethany LeMieux, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Waukesha, WI.
I believe you have a beautiful soul and you can have a beautiful life.
You were designed to flourish in body, mind, spirit, and relationships as a unique reflection of God’s image, but the brokenness of this world sure makes that difficult!
In my 13 years of counseling experience, I have observed human suffering generally occurs in 3 places: in our relationship with others, ourselves, and God.
But I have also found that is where the healing happens! When we have the courage to be vulnerable to share our problems with safe others, ourselves, and God, we can see shame, hurt, pain, inaction, and darkness melt away!
